more what your parents named you?”
Stacy Lynn Applegate. Stacy means dependable,
Lynn means pond, and Applegate means apple
orchard. So my name means Dependable Pond by
the apple orchard. Yeah.
“Remind us again when you were born? I can
never get enough of the story surrounding
your birth.”
August third. My sisters, Junie and Angelyn were
the first to hold me. My dad almost dropped me
and my mom was in the bathroom, getting sick.
I got to go home! She didn't. Hard first few months
for my dad.
“Okay, be honest here. Which are you in to
more: guys or dolls? Don't worry, our lips
are sealed.”
Straighter than a straight line.
“Alright, on to the good stuff. What do you do
in your spare time? Any favorite past times?”
I like to play guitar, ignore Sirius, um, sleep. I love
sleep. I like to write some too, but I'm horrible.
I also do a little bit of climbing. Trees, rockwalls,
rockfaces, that kind of thing. Top marks in gym
in primary school.
“Tell me: what are your favorite things in the
entire world? Those special things that just
make you want to smile?”
Music, laughter, being alone, lounging about, and
of course, day dreaming.
“And sadly we all know that there are things
that we just can't stand. What are yours?”
Sirius Black, James Potter, Remus Lupin, Peter Petigrew
and Lily Evans. I'm not explaining. Just leave it
at this.
“Any short or long term goals? Where do
you see yourself five years? In ten? How
do you plan to get there?”
Finish school and get a job. I don't really know what
else to do with my life. Sorry. I want to travel, but
I have to help my sister.
“What makes you quake in your boots?
If you had to pick one thing that scared
you the most, what would it be?”
Sirius Black makes me quake in my boots! Him
and his flirty attitude, and... what was my point?
Right! He scares me!
“Is there a significant other in your life? How
do you do with relationships?”
There is no one. Nope not at all. I like long term
things. It's horrible when people are like, "Oh yeah,
I was with this guy and he was great". How long
did you go out with him, "Oh uh... three hours".
Idiots..
“Now, you know that we adore you, but let's
talk about some other people for a little bit. A
little bird told me that you have some pretty
well known parents. Who are they?”
My mom is dead. My dad, he works really hard
to keep food on the table. Junie has a job, but
she doesn't get paid often enough to actually
call it a job. My mom was called Lina. Lina Applegate.
She was the prettiest girl out there, a veela. And
everyone liked her. She'd been asked to get married
maybe twelve times, by different guys. And she
chose my dad. So cute, details later.
My dad! Ben Applegate! He's a curse breaker.
He doesn't make much but he doesn't care. He
loves his job and we're all going to be getting
jobs soon. We really want my little sister to have
the best life she can remember.
“Any other important people in your family?
Did you parents have any other children?”
I have three sisters. I'm the second youngest so,
here goes.
Junie B. Applegate, 21, annoying as ever. My
polar opposite. We're not close.
Angelyn Applegate, 18, nicest person you'll ever
meet. She's the closest sister to me.
And my baby sister,
Penelope Anne Applegate, 10, she's cute. Doesn't
shut up. But she's cute. We're close.
“How about pets? How many do you have?”
I have a siamese cat, I got her when I was
ten so she doesn't have a very cool name.
Her name is Pinkey Pie. Yes, I named her after
those toy horses.
“Okay, you have to have known that we were
going to ask. What's your biggest and best
kept secret? I won't tell.”
My biggest secret. Ready for this? Yeah? Alright.
I like one of the biggest pranksters of the time.
Sirius Black. Don't judge or tell anyone! He finds
out and I'm ruined.
“Ok, so who are you loyal to? Dumbledore's
Army, The Dragon's Fire, The Order of the Pheonix,
The Death Eaters, or none of them?”
I'm loyal to whom ever wins me over. Abliet,
You-Know-Who if swayed enough.
“Interesting! Now finally, the last question.
What time are you from, Harry's or the Marauders'?”
Marauder. I'm that girl everyone knows but refues
to acknowldge.
