[Nymphadora Tonks]

Tonks walked into the entrance hall waiting for everyone she was going to walk in with. Which meant, Remus, Teddy, and Keisha. She just hoped Keisha didn't want her shoes back right away. She was wearing light beige ballet flats and a white knee length dress. She felt on top of the world. The year was turning out great! She looked around. She could already hear the music.

It was really catchy, and she found herself moving to the beat. The only thing about her dress that kind of concerner her was the dip in the chest. It was kind weird. Here she was a fourteen feeling like she was revealing a little bit too much skin. Not the best feeling for your first dance with an actual date..

Perrie came up not long after Tonks did and was looking around for Stacy, Julie, Henry, and Cas. But she also wondered where Ginny was. Knowing her actual friends, Julie was hiding from Henry. Cas was trying to find her. And poor Henry was going to show up any moment. Stacy had come down by herself. The two started to talk about getting their nails done at some point when they had the free time.

Tonks and Perrie were thinking the same thing. Stacy looked amazing and probably was going to look the best out of everyone that came. She was a veela so of course she was going to look great. But Stacy flaunted her looks, Perrie thought she was pretty, but she thought she had more of a hippie look than anything. Then there was Tonks, who thought she looked like a pink haired freak. Her hair colour started to change. It slowly became a near black colour with bright red tips. It didn't look horrible but it didn't look great either. She'd perk up again soon though.

[Remus John Lupin]

"Oh come on Remus!" James complained tapping his foot impatiently, "You're really like a girl sometimes, mate." Remus rolled his eyes at James's comment, and straightened his bow tie. He was wearing a shabby suit, the one his mom had bought him for Christmas. His family was not rich by any standard, and so his clothes were always shabby like the suit he was wearing. The red bow tie never seemed to want to stay straight, and his hair never seemed to look right. The blue button up shirt looked fairly fine, and his trousers, a pair of his nicest blue jeans, kept making Remus not want to go. He would probably the be only one in non-dress slacks. But he didn't have any, and his friends didn't realize until he told them about thirty minutes ago. They insisted they could get him some, but Remus had planned it so they wouldn't. He didn't like being poor, and not get nice things, but he hated when others paid for things for him, or at least disliked. It always made him feel bad that he was taking their money away from them, even if they wanted to.

'Go ahead without me. You two have your own dates to worry about. And Peter will stick by your side. I'll catch up with you later," Remus said, trying to flatten his hair, but it wouldn't lay flat no matter how he tried. He wanted to look respectable, and hair up in the sky like it was seemed contradict the appearance. He hoped his hair would eventually lay flat, but after a few minutes, Remus sighed, knowing Tonks would be waiting for him. He wasn't exactly sure if he could call her Tonks in public, whether people would realize it, or they wouldn't care. He liked her first name though, but that was so unique anyone who knew anything about Sirius Black and his family might recognize it.

Finally, Remus headed out, his friends having already left and he made his way down to the Great Hall, where he spotted Tonks and Keisha, Keisha looking like she had just arrived. He smiled at the twins and walked up to them. "Hello," Remus said nervously, really hoping they didn't comment on the way he was dressed. He took Tonks's hand and smiled. "Ready?"

Kiesha had gotten dressed fairly quickly, but she had to deal with her current boyfriend first. She had just dumped him and he had come to her and began pestering her. Oh, Kiesha hated this part. When the guy thinks its not really over when it was so over. Kiesha had a little bit of trouble getting rid of him, Teddy even poked his head in to make sure she was alright, which she just waved off. She didn't need help. She just needed to deal with things on her own. And really, the guy was just a pervert and seemed to not believe that she wasn't a Metamorphagus herself. Apparently he had assumed she had the same power, even though she never changed her appearance like her sister could. And the things the guy asked for! She wanted to just kill him right there. But no, she had to go to the dance, her sister and the cutie Remus would be there. Oh, and Teddy, too. Teddy was cool, and very cute. Maybe... maybe if she couldn't have Remus...

Kiesha made it to the Great Hall, finding her sister, and bounding up to her, hiding the anger she had felt just moments prior due to the fight and sheer anger at some of the things the guy said. "Hi!" Kiesha said happily waving to her sister, standing next to her, "Where's the boys?" No sooner had she spoke did Remus come up to the two of them. "Speak of the devil." Kiesha smiled at Remus, feeling jealous when he took her sister's hand. "Teddy isn't here still."

"Who isn't here?" Teddy's voice came from behind her, which made her jump out of her skin. Teddy smiled seeing his aunt's reaction. He had been ready for awhile, and was waiting for the right moment to make his entrance, and collect his thoughts on the fact that he was with his family. His dad, his mum, and his aunt. All dead in his time, and yet here he was. His photo album safely tucked under his bed with the note he had found fairly recently from his mum. The future Nymphadora Tonks, the future of one of the ladies by him.

"You scared me, Teddy Bear!" Kiesha said with a pouting face.

"I-I didn't mean to!" Teddy replied worried slightly thinking he had upset Kiesha.

"Just kidding, silly," Kiesha replied with a laugh.

"Oh.... ok," Teddy said with a huge smile growing. He was smart, just not when it came to girls, no matter if they were his aunt or not.


Sirius was checking out all the ladies, James beside him, though James didn't seem as interested. James was more preoccupied with where Ginny was, as he scanned the crowd, ignoring Sirius pointing and saying someone was a 9 or something like that. Sirius then spotted Stacy and his jaw literally dropped. James chuckled seeing Sirius's reaction. He obviously didn't think that Stacy could be that beautiful, either that, or Sirius was thinking about how he could get that pretty thing off of her and on the floor... Oh Sirius... what had he gotten himself into?

Tonks giggled. She was as ready as she could be. Even her sister looked happy, after Teddy got there. Figures. She'd be the one to go after the older guy from the future. Although, there was one thing Tonks knew that no one else knew she knew. She had been snooping and had taken a peek inside Teddy's book. Or, she'd been snooping till she found a piece of paper with her handwriting on it. That was something she needed to ask him, why did he have a letter in her writing? And continually on the paper it said mum, could she? No, she couldn't. But if she was, who was the father? Well, she could have told you that, but what if she was wrong? What if she'd never met him in the future? No, she couldn't think like that. She had to stay positive. "I'm as ready as I'll get. Wait, wait, are you wearing jeans? Remus, do you not own a dress suit?" she still thought he looked perfect. She didn't care what he looked like, he was perfect to her.

Tonks looked at her sister incredulously, then pulled her over for a second to whisper to her, "That's what his mum called him, be careful.. You might hurt his feeling." she tried to pass off what she said as something funny by laughing afterward.

She shook her head and started to walk in with everyone, "Keisha! Look at this place! Wow, cheer really did a good job setting up. How much do we want to bet little miss perfect didn't lift her wand or fingers?" she snickered. "Nevermind! No time to dawdle! Lets dance! Eat! Keisha and I can sing too, it'll be fun! Although we may sound like dying cats, never know."

Stacy was holding herself much like a model would knowing she would get attention from everyong. Namely, she wanted attention from Sirius. When she spotted him with his jaw practically on the floor she walked over and tossed her hair, "Pick your jaw up, Black, never know what could be living in there. And besides, no one wants to deal with bats." she smirked and messed with her bangs. She craved the attention. She needed the attention.

Remus sighed and looked at the ground. "Mum is saving up to buy the rest of the suit for next Christmas..." Remus explained. He didn't look back up, feeling embarrassed of his poorness. Sirius and James would probably have him borrow one of their suits for other events between now and the completion of the dress clothes he was getting over time. In fact the jacket was actually his father's and his mum had been saving for awhile for the rest of the outfit for a long while, finally coming close to enough right around this time now.

"He didn't seem to mind," Kiesha whispered back, "If you can have Remy, then I can try to get Teddy." Kiesha always seemed to never get the good guys, and always seemed to snag the worst guys in the world. Now she knew two great guys. One was taken by her sister, and the other may be from the future, but that just meant that she would be a bit older than he was in the future, not a biggie at all. Plus, she hadn't been told about his and Victoire's relationship, so she thought he was free. She hung onto Teddy, which Teddy just took as a friendly gesture, being as thick as he was about girls, thinking that any friend that was female would do the same. Heck, he didn't even realize Victoire flirted with him before, and eventually realized it only because of mutual attraction, having a large crush on her, eventually asking her out, without even realizing that she had been laying signs about her attraction to him.

"Where's the chocolate?" Teddy asked aloud, just as Remus thought the same exact thought. Remus had spotted some on a table nearby, and approached it with a huge smile.

"I found it," Remus chuckled, picking up a chocolate bar that had been on the table, unwrapping it from the wrapper, before taking a bite, "Chocolate is good." Teddy nodded, licking his lips before he took a bowl of chocolate pudding and turning towards the girls with a smile, a little bit of chocolate pudding getting on his lip, which he soon licked off. Kiesha raised an eyebrow at how much the two boys looked alike at the moment, both chocolate lovers, and the two really did look similar.



"Wouldn't be staring if I didn't wonder how your friends would ever let you out in that," Sirius responded with a cocky smile, his mouth snapping shut as soon as Stacy began talking, "Anyways... shouldn't you be in the kitchen?"

"Awh, no I wasn't trying to be mean. Pleasse don't be sad, I was just saying that I could have gotten you one. I had to go get myself a dress, getting you a suit would've been nothing." Tonks smiled trying to be reassuring. She hugged him and said, "I'm sorry! Please don't be upset!" She looked up at him and smiled with eyes like melted chocolate. The fact that he liked chocolate made it more fun for her to have brown hair, or brown eyes or anything. As long as it looked like chocolate, she was pleased.

"He's about thirty years younger than you Kiesha. You're technically cradle robbing. You don't want to be known as a cradle robber do you?" Tonks didn't want her sister to be known for something horrbible like that. It would make her a pedophile. Then she'd get mistaken for her, and then thrown in jail. And have her own record. When the boys went for the chocolate Tonks laughed and looked at her sister as they both thought the same thing. They looked scarily alike.

"Are you two sure you're not related?" she asked.



Stacey rolled her eyes. He was only saying that because people were around. Otherwise he'd be gawking and flirting with her like every other boy in the vicinity. "I can wear anything. My friends have no reins on me, if they did I wouldn't have dated seventh years in my second year." she flipped her hair and flattened her bangs. They were hanging in her eyes a little bit. She turned around and slapped him, "How dare you. My place is anywhere I want to be Black, and if you're going to make jokes about women being in the kitchen I'll make sure everyone knows your little secret."

He couldn't help but smile at her when she looked at him with those eyes.  Her and chocolate, two of the best things in the world.  He couldn't help but wonder what he had done to deserve her liking him.  He loved being liked and it really boosted his low self-esteem to have people who liked him for who he was, even knowing about his condition when others would have just run away and hated him, probably spreading the word around about his werewolf-itis to make him have to leave Hogwarts and all of his friends and everyone would hate him.  That would not be good.  "I-I wouldn't have wanted you to get me anything," Remus said with his smile looking at her beautiful eyes.  She knew him quite well and how to make him smile.  "I should be able to buy myself my stuff."

"So what?" Kiesha asked, "You two," she gestured to Tonks and Remus, "Are more than a decade apart.  Age doesn't matter if we fall in love."  Teddy looked at her curiously.  That was a bit too heavy and he actually noticed it.  He shook it off as something he was misunderstanding.  It would be very awkward if she found out about his... parentage.  Then she would probably tell him about his misunderstanding.  He hated misunderstanding, and usually just kept his mouth shut unless he was sure about it. 

Remus looked at Teddy with a smile, which Teddy had done at the same time and the two looked at each other for a moment.  "I don't think we are; are we, Ted?" Remus asked.  Teddy laughed and shook his.  "Not that I know about.  Well, other than the distant thing, because we do share our surname."  The two made identical movements and looked towards the girls. "So, nope.  Don't believe so," Remus said and the two quickly turned back to the chocolate and continued to eat the chocolate slowly.  Or as slowly as they could.


"Maybe they should get some reins on you," Sirius said at her with the same cocky smile.  Even after she slapped him, he was still smiling, despite his cheek being red.  It wouldn't be a dance if Sirius Black wasn't slapped.  However, when she threatened to reveal his secret, his face darkened some.  "You wouldn't dare."  And for good measure, he added, "If you do, I have plenty of dirt I can reveal about you, Applegate."

Tonks crossed her arms and raised her eyebrows, “But maybe I wanted to get you something. Keisha is the spoiled one, not me.” She smirked and tried not to laugh at her sister. She gave her twin a hug and then punched her arm lightly, “She, my friends, is very spoiled. Mum buys her everything cute she wants. Dad buys me overalls.” she pouted, “I’ll just buy you a teddy bear with one of the picture slots and give it to since you won’t seem to accept any other offer.”

“Thirteen years isn’t as big as thirty!” she turned a bright shade of red. She gave an exasperated look to Teddy and scratched her head, “Why on Earth would you say that out loud? People can hear you!”

Tonks laughed, “Watch Remus, he’s your grandson from the future.” She linked her arm through his and then said, “Enough food, let’s find a table, put our stuff down and go dance! I’m starting to get bored of standing around.”


“Why would they? I may be younger but I am in charge.” She jutted out her hip and tossed her hair. A cloud of dark passed over her face, “Try and spread any gossip about me and it will be the worst mistake of your life.” It was a love/hate relationship the two shared. Sometimes they hated each other, other times they loved each other, no one could really tell.

"I am not!" Keisha replied with a pout on her face, rubbing her arm, "You could get what you want, if you'd tell Mum! They think you love those overalls!" Keisha was very offended by being thought as spoiled. She wasn't spoiled! She just wouldn't let her parents say no! That wasn't spoiled, right? "Alright, if you insist. I'll accept the teddy bear. My teddy bear, it'll always remind me of you," Remus said with a grin on his face. Teddy seemed to flash a grim look on his face that Remus hadn't caught because it passed so fast. It was just that hearing that from his father... it was just... sad for Teddy, and happy at the same time.

"It's not like people will take me serious!" Keisha whispered urgently before she laughed and continued, "Thirteen, thirty, who cares? Won't matter if we never return." Teddy again flashed the grim look, though it stuck a little longer, being noticed by at least Remus.

"Don't say that, Keisha. I love you all, but... I wanna go home," Teddy remarked.

"See? He loves me!" Keisha said with almost a squeal of delight, kissing Teddy's cheek, which made Teddy go red, not because he was embarrassed or anything but because he was nervous and worried that perhaps what he believed Keisha was insinuating was what she actually was. But he shook it off again. Friends give friends little cheek kisses, right?

"That couldn't be. I'm only like... forty years older, I couldn't be a grandfather to Teddy," Remus laughed, "Maybe son, but not grandson!" Teddy laughed nervously and was relieved when Tonks suggested dancing. "Yes, let's go!" Teddy agreed, and Remus laughed. "Alright," Remus laughed, "But more chocolate later, yes?"


"Because you are in charge," Sirius answered with a scoff, "Who'd want to follow what you do? No fun, you are. Much more fun what I do." Sirius smiled with his wolfish grin at her response to his threat. "Maybe I should then!" Sirius turned towards the dance floor, "Hey everyone! Guess what?" Sirius looked back at Stacy and grinned, awaiting her response before he continued.

"Because I do love those overalls... They are really comfy! And hello! Pockets! And they don't think that now, they will think it in the next thirteen years." Tonks pointed out. She wasn't cynical though. She loved her sister dearly, but all siblings fight sometimes. She clapped, "Yay! We can go get one on the next trip to Hogsmeade!" she had a very bright grin on her face and was very please with the turn out. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Teddy's face change for a split second but ignored it, just a trick of the lights. He was probably beaming about all of it.

"We'll have to at some point, think of what's going through Charlie's mind! He's probably freaking out about not being able to find either of us!" she was trying not to get extremely mad about this. Keisha was so annoying and stubborn like their mother sometimes and it made Tonks furious! Just for a split second, her eyes became flames then went back to looking like melted chocolate.

"Pretty sure he didn't mean it the way you thought." she muttered, barely audible.

"Well, can we do the math real quick? If you had a child when you were twenty, and that child had Teddy at twenty, then you woul be a forty-year-old grandfather. Simple addition and subtraction. Oh my God, I've been around you in the library too much. I'm doing actual math." She laughed, "Yes more chocolate later."


Stacy dropped her jaw and raised her eyebrows, "You really wanna go there?" she clamped her hands over his mouth and glared at him, "Finish that statement and I will personally cut out your vocal chords. Now shut up and get out on the dance floor. Because I am not dealing with you anymore." she refused to release him till he agreed to her terms.
