Morgana le Fay
AKA Morgan Pendragon
Undetermined. Slytherin.
“I dare say that you have a house hold name,
but for our new readers, will you inform us once
more what your parents named you?”
I honestly know little of my name's origins. It has been said to come from the Celtic war goddess Morrigan, and I rather like that take on it. I was born Morgana le Fay, though I've taken up the name Morgan Pendragon in these modern times. I suppose my name is alright. I've nothing to complain about there.
“Remind us again when you were born? I can
never get enough of the story surrounding
your birth.”
I believe that the day of my birth is around September the fifth. It is the height of apple-picking season, did you know? I have a great fondness for apples. Besides that, there is not much to remark about in regards to my birth. I was the first child of Lady Igraine, and I am sure that my birth was not accompanied by the fanfare of my youger brother's years later.
“Okay, be honest here. Which are you in to
more: guys or dolls? Don't worry, our lips
are sealed.”
You ask odd questions. Dolls? Are those not children's toys? Of course I prefer men.
“Alright, on to the good stuff. What do you do
in your spare time? Any favorite past times?”
I used to cultivate apples, and invent potions and spells. I have been known to dabble in more...mannish passtimes. Archery has always been among my favorites, and horseback riding, much to my siblings' undying horror. They roll in their graves even now, I am sure. It seems that, at some point in my life, I picked up the habit of writing textbooks for young witches and wizards; I have no comment on the baffling habits of my older self.
“Tell me: what are your favorite things in the
entire world? Those special things that just
make you want to smile?”
I was, at one time, tremendously fond of my younger brother, but he is dead now. I have developed a tolerance for the antics of one Godric Gryffindor and his ridiculous band of fools as they traipse through the countryside and draw attention to themselves, as much as I like to be left alone. My island of Avalon is my favorite place in the world. I like books and calligraphy and art, usually my own. Inventive bits of magic are also something I've found myself liking lately.
“And sadly we all know that there are things
that we just can't stand. What are yours?”
I dislike a great many things. Pompous fools, poorly-written books, subservient women, MERLIN, and that wretched eyesore that Arthur built on my island, for example.
“Any short or long term goals? Where do
you see yourself five years? In ten? How
do you plan to get there?”
Goals? Oh, my, I fear that I've accomplished all of mine.
“What makes you quake in your boots?
If you had to pick one thing that scared
you the most, what would it be?”
Death, I suppose. I am functionally immortal, but I can be killed, and would prefer to not be.
“Is there a significant other in your life? How
do you do with relationships?”
Hah! Love is for fools and the weak! As though I would ever allow myself to be so ensnared!
“Now, you know that we adore you, but let's
talk about some other people for a little bit. A
little bird told me that you have some pretty
well known parents. Who are they?”
My mother was the Lady Igraine. Honestly, she was a vapid and weak-willed woman. I haven't much to say about her, save for that her only true accomplishment in life was giving birth to my brother.
My father was a fay, erm, fairy. He vanished into the forest long before I was even born, and reappeared in my childhood to teach me magic before vanishing again, the inconsistent bastard. I despise him.
“Any other important people in your family?
Did you parents have any other children?”
My brother was Arthur Pendragon, of kingly fame. He was brave and worthy of his title as King, but he was ultimately weak. He fell in love with that faithless wench Guinevere, and that was his downfall. Betrayed by Lancelot and killed by his own son. I took my bloody vengeance on all three; it did little to ease the raw ache of missing Arthur.
“How about pets? How many do you have?”
I have a pet raven, Miina, which was a gift from Dumbledore. Other than that, no. Not in this time. The animals I cared for were left behind in my own time.
“Okay, you have to have known that we were
going to ask. What's your biggest and best
kept secret? I won't tell.”
Is not my own identity a tremendous secret?
“Ok, so who are you loyal to? Dumbledore's
Army, The Dragon's Fire, The Order of the Phoenix,
The Death Eaters, or none of them?”
Hah. You list names that I know not. My loyalties lie with myself and Britannia.
“Interesting! Now finally, the last question.
What time are you from, Harry's or the Marauders'?”
I am from none of these eras. I suppose I am from that of the Founders, distasteful as I find them sometimes.
Hey there HOMETOWN GLORY ?! my name is ARYE and I've
been roleplaying for SEVERAL years. I'm 17 years
