The idea I got cause I was watching Prince of Egypt.

Okay so, as I said, I'm watching prince of Egypt and Ralf Fiennes aka VOLDEMORT! Is the voices of Ramses. And well this also came from reading Kane Chronicles, but I was thinking since we've got Fays and Founders... Why no go back further? Why not bring in children from further back? My idea was to bring a daughter from the fall of Egypt or even the time of Moses, as a daughter of Rameses. Either barely escaping Romans or barely escaping plagues, it all depends. She would know broken English. Be well versed in ancient magics and would find certain ethnic groups to be considered slaves but an all around nice girl if you are of some Egyptian decent. Any comment on what we think? Cause I personally think it's grand.

I like it! The magic she knows is probably primarily in Greek...mind if I make a character from her time period? Maybe a slave that she was very fond of?

the only issue I have with this is that we have to come up for an explanation for why/how the stone moved from those long ago times to England during the time of the founders to end up later in Hogwarts, once you answer that, have fun I love the idea

I think Fall of Egypt is best. She can be Arsinoe! Arsinoe was Cleopatra's little sister. I wanna make a Roman character now...

I was thinking the stone had been in the library in Alexandria and it survived the fire. Arsinoe knew its magical abilities used it and that sealed the stone till it was moved. A roman had taken the stone after it had been sealed, taken to Rome, Rome fell and an English man found it brining it with him to England. Sensing so much movement of magic the seal had broken and this caused the rift. Before Arsinoe had sealed it one could choose where to go, I figure the seal sealed it to the last place someone went which ended up being the 1970s. So Arsinoe what? She can't go by Arsinoe of Egypt anote.. Although I feel like she would boast about it...

Well the stone has to have been moved last in the time of the founders, which was around 900AD, because otherwise the founders never would have been moved forward in time

Arisnoe Ptolemy would be her name. And she lived at the same time as Caesar, so the stone could have easily been in England by the Founders' time.

As for my idea. I thought that the stone could have been given to Cleopatra as a gift by Caesar without either realizing, at first, what it was. Arsinoe, who was a witch, would have, though. She stole the stone and kept it on her person all the way up to her exile to the Artemisian. When her life was ultimately put in danger by her sister's assassination attempt, she accidentally activated the stone and it brought her to the future. A Roman guard that was secretly a wizard himself observed all of this and, realizing what the stone was and what it did, took great pains to get it to Britannia, where he could entrust it to the Lady of the Lake, who was Nimue at that time. Not trusting her master, Vivianne hid the stone away. It passed through the hands of several witches and wizards before returning to Vivianne, now a retired Lady of the Lake, who brought it to its final resting place in Hogwarts in secret when she came there to teach briefly.

Except that the room in which it lays was built around the stone, so the founders had to have known of it and where it would be, and likely have had it with them, when they dealt with it, and Salazar came before Hogwarts had been built, meaning they had to have the stone in possession during the early plans for how Hogwarts would have been built

I can change the idea a little.

Instead of Vivanne bringing it to Hogwarts with her, she likely entrusted it to Rowena and Salazar. Godric she considered a brash fool, and Helga too nice, so those two were the only valid choices. Being the kind of person she was, though, Vivianne only told them to defend it zealously and hide it from their students.

of course, and Salazar, who returns later knowing the power of the stone, hides it in a room to be locked away until of course Harry and Ginny stumble on it and it begins to gain power and start the wibbly wobbly timey whimey stuff all over again, and that I think works, and we can start with that as long as we all know that Redd may decide she doesn't like it and we have to delete the characters and go back to how it is now
