She woke up to the sound of people sreaming and running as well as being advanced towards. The was grabbed from her bed and dragged away. Luckily she had the thought to sleep with the stone from the library in Alexandria under her pillow. A brilliant idea. And she had just figured out how it worked, one was to think of the desired destination and by placing a hand on the top of the stone it would take them away. She kept thinking to be taken to the future, she knew as soon as she saw the guards that Ceasar was dead and she was next. A public execution. She didn't cry though. The queen of Egypt would not cry for this day she would escape. She would live on to throw her sister from the throne once and for all. Cleopatra did not deserve the throne. She was not a queen. They reached the steps, she was released enough for her to get her hand on the stone just as they sword was brought down on her neck. She gasped and there she was. Gone. No longer on her death day. She smiled and took a deep breath to take in the scents of her surroundings.
"Ah, alive and ready for the throne. It will be my throne." She said in egyptian as she turned around. To her surprise there was a castle, smaller than the pyramids, but larger than the great Sphinx. "This is very nice."
She walked toward it coming to a stop in the center of a circle, a stone circle. Where was she? There were no desert sands, no one there to bow to her; she expected to at least see someone. After noticing the near empty green lawn, she took another look around. A bridge, a castle, a lawn, and not to mention strange busts of strange animals. What was this place? She could only find out.
