Adventures With a Madman [Piper/open]

Dear old Johnny-boy had taken a liking to a dear Piper, a muggle,while he, a wizard, left his post at the school to go and travel with Piper around the world.  They had visited a variety of places, every one of the continents, though the trip to Antarctica wasn't the most fun in the world with the cold (though they met some very friendly scientists who were conducting a very dangerous experiment that turned the scientists into plant monsters; only one of the scientists had survived).  The trip to New Zealand was pretty cool.  The water was so very clear there.  Quite beautiful he must say.  Piper still had no clue how he was getting them to those places so fast.  John had said it was magic.  And it was.  Good thing he passed his apparation test. 

He had dropped her off at home so she could see her mother for a few days.  He had decided to give her some space, because he was pretty sure too much of him would be too much and her mother didn't seem to like him all that much.  Whisking her daughter away like that, putting her in danger.  Luckily, her mom didn't find out until about a month ago when some Dark Wizards attacked, and Piper had insisted on joining John, though he tried to make her stay behind.  He never actually told Piper that he was a wizard, but he figured after the attack she either was in denial or discovered it herself.  Probably still didn't believe in magic and that the attackers had sophisticated weaponry; she was quite stubborn. 

John had arrived at her place and knocked on the door wearing his normal grin on his face waiting for the beautiful Piper Tyler to open the door.  Maybe one of these days he would realize that he was in love with her... Maybe.

Piper was still very much asleep when the doorbell rang and so her mother answered the door. She pursed her lips, rolled her eyes and walked away once she saw who it was. The door remained open for him to enter, while Piper's mother was very reluctant to allow the strange man who'd taken her daughter away for such a long time.

"She's in her room." Her mother waved a bored hand towards the room at the other end of the flat. "But she's still sleeping." Her mother had hoped he was just not going to return.

Piper had woken up and rolled on the floor with a painful thud. She groaned as a sign that she was partially awake. "Mum, its best not to just sat I'm asleep when we have company... I could have been naked and you would have sent them straight to my room to be blinded and, or, mentally scarred." She said from the floor.

John chuckled at Piper's reply.  Not that he would mind if she were... well, he would be quite embarrassed if he had just walked in and she was...  Well, you know.  He would probably have said something awkward and then slowly back away with his eyes covered, run into a few tables and fell onto the couch in the living room.  But it wouldn't bad, per se.  What he was trying to think of was that he wouldn't be scarred for life and he might en... well, at least not be fearful or whatever.  It was really hard to not make that go dirty in his mind.  Gosh darn it.  She was his friend!  Not anything more... right?  Right?  RIGHT? 

Well, whatever.  Her mom didn't like him anyways.

"Oh, I'm hurt," John said with an exaggerated exasperation, "I would most definitely use discretion when heading by a woman's room."  Why didn't her mom like him?  Probably because that was just words and not what he was actually do.  He'd probably not even think twice about it and just walk right in.  And he didn't seem like the safe type.  It wasn't like he went those places for the danger, per se, but for the adventure and to show someone the world.

Piper was in striped pyjama shorts and a tank top. She walked into the living room to get a snack and froze. She stood in place for a bit before remembering what she was wearing. She screamed and took off into the room. She shouted something about her mother being a snobby got, and exited the room a bit later in yoga pants, a dark pink shirt and a jean jacket.

She smiled with a bit of nervous blush on her cheeks, "Sorry about that, she's mad at me... I'm mad at her too so its a lose lose situation. So what's up? Please say we're leaving because I am so ready to get out of here!"
